Sometimes it’s just nice to get away from it all, even if “away” is a few miles away.
One of the nice things about the Valley in Summer is that there are often deals to be had at local resorts. With the winter crowds gone, prices come down and bargains begin. From package deals including spa, golf, dining and other activities to discount room rates, you never know what you’ll find.
An overnight or weekend resort visit can be almost as refreshing as a vacation. It’s also a terrific gift idea for that difficult person who has everything.
